Ngāi Tahu's tourism roots extend back to when our ancestors were the guides for many of the first European explorers. Now tourism allows us to extend to visitors our manaakitanga (hospitality) and provide rich experiences now, and for generations to come.

Franz Josef Glacier Guides

Rainbow Springs
Rainbow Springs Kiwi Wildlife Park has come a long way since the land was first purchased in 1929. While there were many developments, there was always one vision for the land, that was to create a wildlife park with a strong focus on conservation.
Today the Park is an award winning tourist attraction with great features including kiwi, trout, tuatara, pigs, sheep, native birds and trees and New Zealand's only 'open to view' kiwi hatchery and rearing facility.

Aqua Taxi
Aqua Taxi gets you closer to the Abel Tasman Coastline. Our purpose built boats are fast and can get you to those out of the way places. We've got more departures, more flexibility and more freedom; designed for you to get what you want from the Abel Tasman. Aqua Taxis' operates all year round, being the only company to regularly run service the entire length of the National Park, and also running additional early and late departure times, ensuring more freedom for all. Aqua taxis have two bases to depart from. Our Marahau beach base offers free off street parking, excellent base facilities and a great relaxation area. Our Kaiteriteri base is right on the beachfront and is enjoyed by many people after a relaxed time in the National Park.
